Alaska

Alaska is a really huge state, mostly uninhabited except by Bears, Moose, Caribou and assorted other animals. It needs to be experienced on land as well as sea. If you love to see animals, you must do some land portion on your trip-- the sightings from sea are just too far away. Many of the ports of call offer additonal experiences of Alaska which are entirely different, but no less rewarding. Like Totem Pole carving, riding the rapids, fishing, landing on a Glacier from a helicopter, taking a narrow guage steam train over wooden trestles past 1500 foot waterfalls, a town built on stilts and piers, includings the "red light" district. Yes, lots of different experiences. That is Alaska!

I've been selling cruises since 1996. For 8 years I was the Top Cruise Consultant in Canada for CruiseShipCenters and in January 2004 I have my own store! We're the largest cruise only franchise in Canada and have been in business for over 20 years! I've been on over 35 cruises and have travelled to Alaska 7 times.

I provide personal vacation planning assistance for your travels in Alaska and the Yukon Territory. Each trip is unique, based on the traveler's choice of destinations, levels of service, and facilities. I am a travel agent for the Alaska ferry system, the Alaska railroads, Alaska cruise ships (small and large), plus all the tour and transportation companies, and hotels, b & bs, wilderness lodges, cabins, and resorts throughout Alaska and the Yukon. I create a customized itinerary that shows you how long it takes to get from place to place, and what everything will cost. After you've had a chance to review my suggestions, we can incorporate any changes you would like to make. I really love Alaska and it is my pleasure to help you put together a great vacation!

I am extensively travelled. I usually fly into a country, rent a car, and in depth it (the country) before leaving. I am CLIA qualified, and have my MCC. I continually take additional education seminars to keep up my skills.
